On October 23, 1804, a Black male with the surname Boothe died in Keene, NH.  The NH death record does not indicate his first name, age, cause of death, nor his history/background.  Four years earlier, however, a white resident of Keene named William Boothe was listed as head of household in the 1800 census.  Also residing in that household was a free person of color and a white female, presumably his wife.  The free person of color could have been the person who died in 1804.
