Sixteen-year old Black teenager, John Stimpson, boarded in the home of Thomas and Ellen Kendrick in the year 1900. The Kendricks were white and lived on their farm on Parker Street in Winchester, NH. Stimpson worked as a farm laborer on the farm.
John Stimpson was born in November 1883 in New Jersey. His father was originally from North Carolina and his mother from Georgia. At the time of the 1900 census, Stimpson could read and write. No further information is known about him to date.
