David Johnson (b.1790)

In May, 1804, a 14-year old apprentice, David Johnson, ran away from John Brown, Jr. of Packersfield (now Nelson), NH.  Ads ran in the New Hampshire Sentinel for one month.  Brown offered a 4 cent reward for Johnson’s return.  Johnson was described as dark complexion, wearing a striped woolen frock, a flopt hat, leather apron and was barefoot.
